NSDAP — the Nazi Party (DAP 1919 → NSDAP 1920 → 1945)

institutionMedia & Managed Opposition
The Nazi Party itself — founded in a Munich hotel in 1919 as a workers' club, renamed in 1920, captured by Hitler in 1921, fused with the German state in 1933.
Who they are

Founded by Anton Drexler, a Munich locksmith, with Karl Harrer, a journalist sent by the occultist Thule Society to reach workers. Adolf Hitler joined months later as an army agent and took the leadership in July 1921.

What they do

Founded 5 January 1919 at the Fürstenfelder Hof as the German Workers' Party (DAP); announced its 25-point program and its new name — National Socialist German Workers' Party — on 24 February 1920. From 1933 it was the state.

How it works

This page corrects an error this site used to carry: the founding was at the Fürstenfelder Hof, not at the Thule Society's hotel. The Thule connection is real but organizational — Harrer was their man, and Drexler is recorded as a member — which is different from the party being an occult project through and through.

Why it matters

The party is the vehicle the whole story runs through. The steps by which it took the state — the 1923 coup attempt, the elections, the backroom deal, the fire decree, the law that gave Hitler total power — are still open pages here, deliberately, until each is built from records.

The engine's record — word for word
[Report #201 — person layer] **In plain terms:** the party itself, as an organization — founded as the German Workers' Party (DAP), renamed, captured by its own propaganda man, and fused with the German state. THE RECORD: 'On 5 January 1919, the German Workers' Party (DAP) was founded in Munich in the hotel Fürstenfelder Hof' by Anton Drexler with Karl Harrer (venue per the standard record — canon's prior Vier-Jahreszeiten placement corrected this pass). Harrer, 'commissioned by the Thule Society' to reach German workers, held the party's chairmanship-level post (Reich Chairman per his page; deputy chairman under Drexler per the DAP and Drexler pages — both carried) until 24 February 1920 — the day the party announced the 25-point program (drafted by Feder, Hitler and Drexler) and the renaming to the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP). Hitler took the leadership in July 1921; Drexler was moved to honorary president. The party's seizure and exercise of state power 1933-1945 runs through the records wired to this node (hitler; staatsnotwehr_law_1934; nuremberg_laws_1935; mefo_bills_schacht for the state's hidden finance) — the step-by-step seizure records (putsch, elections, appointment, fire decree, Enabling Act, Gleichschaltung) remain OPEN engine ground, named in Report #201's integration record. ENGINE WIRING: the Thule connection is organizational (Harrer; Drexler's own page also records him a Thule Society member), per the caveat held at thule_society — not a geographic or doctrinal total-collapse. Held; name no holder.
