George Adamski — from 'Professor of Tibet' to the first Nordic contactee

[Report #196] **In plain terms:** the man whose 1952 desert meeting with 'Orthon' founded the Nordic-alien story — and who had run an occult order teaching the wisdom of Tibetan Masters for twenty years before it. Born in Bromberg, Prussia, to Polish parents; ran 'the cafe at Palomar Gardens' at the base of Palomar Mountain. By 1932 lecturing as 'PROF. GEO. ADAMSKI OF TIBET' for the Royal Order of Tibet (royal_order_of_tibet). Claimed contact on 20 November 1952, '10.2 miles from Desert Center toward Parker, Arizona'. Books: Flying Saucers Have Landed (1953, with Desmond Leslie); Inside the Space Ships (1955), where the name 'Orthon' first appears. His 1936 Wisdom of the Masters of the Far East: 'The Masters use the law of Love, which unites all in oneness.' The Space Brothers' message in Inside the Space Ships: 'each individual, each group of mankind, all intelligent life on each world, must decide its own destiny without interference from another'; Earth man 'repeatedly attained certain peaks, only to enter into another stage of destruction'; their ships held nothing that 'even faintly resembled a weapon of destruction'. Orthon's hair: 'sandy in colour and hung in beautiful waves' (1953). CORRECTIONS: 'sandy-colored, wavy hair' in Inside the Space Ships describes the Martian Firkon; 'Universal Law of Love' is not in any Adamski text searched — it appears in others' 1954 saucer print.
