Masters → Space Brothers — Theosophy's hierarchy recast as the Nordic alien

[Report #196] **In plain terms:** scholars of new religions document that the 1950s 'Space Brothers' — the human-looking, usually fair 'Nordic' visitors — are Theosophy's hidden Masters moved from Tibet to other planets. THE SCHOLARSHIP. Partridge (ed.), UFO Religions (Routledge, 2003), p. 14: 'Bearing in mind that the masters were often termed "Brothers" in theosophical literature, it is perhaps significant that Adamski deliberately chooses to refer to aliens as "Space Brothers"'; p. 15: 'as with the ascended masters, Adamski clearly believes Orthon to be the end result of a long process of reincarnation'. Oxford Handbook of Millennialism (OUP, 2011), p. 591: 'Stupple (1984) notes, whereas the idea of extraterrestrials was epiphenomenal to Theosophy, the Elder Brothers, Mahatmas, and Ascended Masters became the benevolent Space Brothers of Theosophically oriented flying saucer …'. Gale Encyclopedia of Occultism: contactees' beings 'had the same names as the ascended masters originally mentioned by Blavatsky or Ballard'. THE CHAIN. Blavatsky's Masters (helena_blavatsky) → the I AM Activity's Ascended Masters, including Masters from Venus (i_am_activity) → Adamski, who ran a Tibetan-Masters order in the 1930s (royal_order_of_tibet) and co-wrote his first saucer book with a Theosophy-steeped co-author (desmond_leslie) → the Nordic typology (nordics_tall_whites_typology) → later Pleiadian and starseed branches (pleiadian_nhi_typology, starseed_cosmology). The same root-race hierarchy that fed Ariosophy runs through the Masters. Held as documented doctrinal transmission; no organisational continuity asserted; name no holder.
