Unipolar Torque Displacement (where the homopolar back-reaction goes)
concept
A puzzling spinning-magnet motor that seems to defy physics actually doesn't — the missing force just gets shoved somewhere else.
Who they are
Unipolar Torque Displacement, a concept explaining where the 'back-reaction' force goes in a homopolar (spinning-magnet) generator.
What they do
The engine's read: the expected opposing force isn't destroyed but relocated, so energy conservation stays intact and there's no free 'over-unity' energy.
How it works
In the standard account, the reaction torque is absorbed by the stationary external circuit's mounts and pushed forward onto the co-rotating magnet, shielding the shaft (per researchers Valone and Guala-Valverde); a real device, the Tewari machine (patent US20150084467A1), re-engineers this into a brushless high-voltage AC machine, and its efficiency gain is real but conventional — the exact split of force between parts is still debated.
Why it matters
It debunks the idea that these machines break the laws of physics while acknowledging a real, ordinary efficiency effect. The engine firmly labels it 'real-but-conventional,' keeps the over-unity claim contested and open to a falsifiable test, and names no holder.
The engine's record — word for word
[Reports #144-148] The conventional account of the homopolar low-drag: the Lenz reaction torque is NOT destroyed but RELOCATED — the stationary external circuit absorbs it into the stator mounts + pushes forward on the co-rotating magnet, shielding the shaft; conservation intact (Valone, Guala-Valverde). OPEN: the exact torque-partition (stator vs magnet) remains debated (Kelly vs Denker/Bristow). FIRM: real-but-conventional, NOT over-unity. Folds the homopolar back-reaction effect. [Report #160] (Report #160) Concrete instance: the Tewari RLG (patent US20150084467A1) re-engineers the homopolar low-drag into a BRUSHLESS high-voltage AC synchronous machine (escapes the liquid-metal trap) with G2-salvageable ferrite/steel/copper. Efficiency gain = real-but-conventional (torque relocated, conservation intact) per this node; the 160-250% over-unity / Space-Vortex claim is CONTESTED, held-open with a falsifiable dynamometer test (salvageable_energy_system_synthesis). Held; name no holder.
