Salvageable Energy System — Concrete Integrated L3 Build
nodeMoney & Finance
This is a full recipe for building a real off-grid power plant almost entirely out of scrap and junkyard parts.
Who they are
A detailed, buildable off-grid energy system design worked out in the engine's Report #160.
What they do
It's a concrete blueprint for a small power system made from salvaged materials that can run continuously on free fuel.
How it works
It combines three parts on a shared belt-driven shaft: solar heat collectors made from salvaged mirrors, a biogas digester fed by roughly 25 cows' worth of dung, and a rare-earth-free generator built from microwave-oven magnets and scrap steel, storing energy in homemade nickel-iron batteries and running through a scrap-parts inverter; it's sized for 500-1000 watts and the math has been checked. One efficiency add-on (the Tewari device) gives a real, conventional gain, but its bigger 'more energy out than in' claim is disputed and treated as contested.
Why it matters
It shows that resilient, buildable power doesn't require exotic technology — just salvage, arithmetic, and known mechanisms — while honestly flagging which claims are solid and which are contested.
The engine's record — word for word
[Report #160] The concrete buildable L3 system the ladder was circling (clears #157). TRI-COMPONENT INTEGRATED BUILD: solar-thermal (58.9 m2 salvaged-mirror parabolic troughs -> blackened copper receiver -> scrap uniflow steam / atmospheric Stirling prime mover) + biogas dispatch (20 m3 IBC/oil-drum digester, ~25 cattle, iron-sponge H2S scrubber) coupled on a COMMON V-belt shaft -> Piggott ferrite AFPM generator (C8 barium/strontium ferrite from microwave magnetrons, ZERO rare-earth; dual 400mm scrap-steel rotors, coreless resin stator, salvaged enameled copper) -> NiFe bank (40 cells, 48V, 275Ah for the 9kWh night load at 80% DoD; DIY nickel-plated-steel + rust electrodes, 20% KOH + 10-40% LiOH, field-flush every 7-10yr) -> analog SG3525 push-pull inverter (salvaged IRF3205 MOSFETs, ATX ferrite core, 4N35 feedback). Sized for 500-1000W continuous (12-24 kWh/day); ARITHMETIC VERIFIED (500W -> 19.8kWh generation -> 3.88kW shaft -> 32.4kW thermal -> 58.9m2 aperture; 60kWh biogas -> 10m3 -> 250kg dung -> 25 cows). Full salvage BOM + build sequence + failure/repair paths (electrolyte-carbonation flush, MOSFET desolder-swap, re-cast piston rings). EFFICIENCY LAYER — the Tewari RLG (unipolar_torque_displacement): back-torque cancellation as a REAL-BUT-CONVENTIONAL efficiency gain (95-98%; torque relocated not destroyed, conservation intact) that cuts prime-mover fuel + solar aperture; the 160-250% OVER-UNITY / Space-Vortex claim is CONTESTED (mainstream: violates the 1st law) and held OPEN with a falsifiable DYNAMOMETER dial-mover (torque transducer P_mech vs RMS-analyzer P_elec over 72h at net-zero battery drain; P_elec>P_mech sustained beyond error = over-unity, else confirms the conventional limit) — a concrete L4 detector alongside #159's T5. DISCIPLINE: generation held; and the wall is HELD — L3 is where CONFIRMED physics currently sits, NOT an 'absolute ceiling'; the thermodynamic wall is a dial-position (is-it-real-or-just-unreached), the dynamometer is the dial-mover. The report's 'absolute ceiling / proves' verdict-language is NOT reproduced. Held; name no holder.
