They also murdered racing driver Laurent Pasquali in 2018. Charges included murder and criminal conspiracy across 22 people.
Why it matters
It's proof that a lodge can act as a hidden chain of command with real intelligence personnel, but this was small-scale local crime, not a worldwide assassination ring, and stripping that context to link it to unrelated killings is the mistake the engine flags.
