Six named men, Q's creators and the CFR
Still playing out
Report #198 — the 'six named people' post (Gage, O'Keefe, Jaco, McKay, Steele, Pieczenik) plus Jack Posobiec's 2019 'friends of mine' tweet, reread by layer: service labels checked against each man's own records; Steele/Pieczenik not among the 13 suspects whose writing a 2023 peer-reviewed study compared with Q's — neither tied nor cleared, held; Pieczenik on the CFR roster to Oct 2012; Posobiec's tweet archived, names no one — held

The call: A viral post on X (formerly Twitter) in October 2026 named six men — Lucas Gage, Ken O'Keefe, Michael Jaco, Scott McKay, Robert David Steele and Steve Pieczenik — as ex-Marines or ex-Navy SEALs, said Steele and Pieczenik created Q, the anonymous online poster behind QAnon, a far-right American conspiracy theory and political movement that began in 2017, and tagged Pieczenik 'CFR', the Council on Foreign Relations.
A viral post on X (formerly Twitter) in October 2026 named six men — Lucas Gage, Ken O'Keefe, Michael Jaco, Scott McKay, Robert David Steele and Steve Pieczenik — as ex-Marines or ex-Navy SEALs, said Steele and Pieczenik created Q, the anonymous online poster behind QAnon, a far-right American conspiracy theory and political movement that began in 2017, and tagged Pieczenik 'CFR', the Council on Foreign Relations. Each claim was checked one by one against official records, news reports and the men's own statements, keeping what is proven apart from what is not. Gage's Marine service is documented; O'Keefe's rests on his own account; Jaco's SEAL service rests on his own biography; no record of McKay as a Marine was found; Steele was a Marine and CIA officer, and none of his own biographies call him a SEAL. Pieczenik was on the Council's member list until 2012. In 2023 two researchers in France compared Q's posts with the writing of 13 people suspected of being Q. The closest match was two other men, Paul Furber and Ron Watkins, who both deny writing as Q. Steele and Pieczenik were not among the 13, so that study neither ties them to Q nor clears them. Broadcaster Jack Posobiec tweeted in 2019 that Q was started by 'two guys that are friends of mine' and later deleted it; he never named them.
The engine's record — word for word
Integration record for Report #198. SOURCE: a Gemini deep-research report ("Alternative Media Claims Verification", Oct 7 2026) answering the six-named-people prompt; it reports it could not reach the engine export (its line 3; the same URL fetched without error for this check). All 326 of its factual statements were checked against its 57 cited sources (44 readable); the 255 without a working source were searched (FOUND 45 / IN PART 57 / CONTRADICTED 4 / NOT FOUND 51 held / the report's own readings 98). Laydown: HERE ALAN/SIX-NAMED-PEOPLE-Q-REPORT-LAYDOWN-2026-10-07.html. The engine-maker added Jack Posobiec's 2019 tweet and his links. READ BY LAYER (Concept #56), not true/false. T1 Gage 'ex Marine' — DOCUMENTED (Wikipedia; CEP; his own 21 Feb 2025 post in the object's Image 1). '310 K' not found; ADL 'over 286K' before a 2023-24 suspension. He publicly renounced antisemitism on 14 Feb 2026 (Wikipedia). T2 O'Keefe 'ex Navy Seal' — the post's own Image 2 shows his bio 'Former USMC, Combat Veteran'; Marine in the 1991 Gulf War (Real Change, 2010). No SEAL source; no official record either way. T3 Jaco 'ex Navy Seal' — his publisher's bio: BUD/S class 116 (Feb 1982); self-account, not a Navy record. 'CIA operative' appears in a Team MJ Veterans Day post from his own account; no CIA record found — held. T4 McKay 'ex Marine' — not found; a VetFriends listing of a Scott McKay (USAF 30th Space Wing 2008-14) is not tied to him. Held. T5 Steele 'ex Navy Seal and CIA' — CIA: three operations tours in Latin America (IKS 2014; Privacy PC); Marine officer and senior civilian creating the Marine Corps Intelligence Center (his 2010 SSI bio). SEAL: in no bio; not found either way. 'CIA created Q': no record either way — held. T6 'created Q anon with Steve Pieczenik' — the peer-reviewed Cafiero/Camps study (Digital Scholarship in the Humanities, Dec 2023) names Paul F. and Ron W. as the 'closest match' who 'could have' written the drops; it compared Q's posts with the writing of 13 named suspects, and Steele and Pieczenik were not among them, so it neither links nor clears them — held. Middle layer: Steele on adrenochrome on YouTube, June 2017 (CJR); Pieczenik's post-2020 InfoWars 'sting operation' claim (Wikipedia). T7 'CFR' — Pieczenik on the CFR roster archived 6 Oct 2012, absent 18 Nov 2012 (primary). Steele: no CFR record found. 'CFR created Q': no record either way — held. T8 'get on Info Wars, Health Ranger' — InfoWars documented for Pieczenik, Steele and O'Keefe (2012 Money Bomb); Rumble for Gage and Jaco; McKay-Jaco roundtables. No Health Ranger appearance found for any of the six. POSOBIEC — 8 Mar 2019 tweet 'QAnon was started by two guys that are friends of mine' (deleted; Wayback 15 Jul 2019); names no one — held; would settle: his naming them. 2018 OANN segment 'Creator of QAnon Speaks'; 2020 'an online movement, not an intel operation'. Flynn: shared tour bill, panel, host-guest (his own posts). Loomer: co-appearances and public disputes. A critic's assertion naming Brower and 'Microchip' is held as his assertion. REPORT ERRORS NOT CARRIED IN: '93% accuracy'; OrphAnalytics 'peer-reviewed / IEEE'; the 99%/98% as 'precision' (they are f1); '72% indirect equity' (NBC: 72% of payments to PQPR go to Jones and family); '$60-70M a year'; Steele adrenochrome 'February 2017' (June 2017); journal named 'Computational Linguistics'; Gage 'zero mainstream' (profiled after Feb 2026); McKay 'local papers only' (Daily Beast); '240 records' (its own counts total 161); the Watkins attribution credited to OrphAnalytics (it was Cafiero/Camps). ALREADY IN CANON (not re-added): two-team stylometry (q_authentication_break_timeline); Furber/Watkins as allegation (watkins_board_control); PQPR and ~$30M (free_speech_systems); Operation Trust (operation_trust, qanon). APEX: held (Concept #147).
