The American arm didn't stop at sterilization. Fernald & Wrentham schools (1946-56): MIT researchers, funded by the Atomic Energy Commission, fed radioactive calcium and iron to institutionalized boys (deceived via a 'science club') and dosed toddlers with radioactive iodine.
