How it works
GAVI presents itself as the leading group on vaccination, saying it supports the immunization of almost half the world's children. It also works with Microsoft and the Rockefeller Foundation on the ID2020 platform, though this does not prove a command relationship or funding line between them. In 2014 it changed its name from 'GAVI Alliance' and rebranded with a logo deliberately reminiscent of UN organization logos, using green as a mark of difference.
