DOE / 17 Labs

playerAI & Compute
The US energy department's network of national labs is quietly becoming the backbone of a major AI push.
Who they are

The DOE / 17 Labs, meaning the Department of Energy and its national laboratory network[1].

What they do

The engine lists it as infrastructure behind the 'Genesis Mission' and 'Project PROMETHEUS.'

How it works

The entry is thin — it points to the national lab network as the platform for these named programs without further detail.

Why it matters

It flags the DOE lab system as key infrastructure for a large-scale government initiative, though the node itself gives little beyond the names.

The engine's record — word for word
Genesis Mission infrastructure. Project PROMETHEUS. National lab network.
