How it works
It organized, funded, and directed the CCP's first congress in Shanghai in July 1921, welding radicals Chen Duxiu and Li Dazhao into a party; its agents rotated across nationalities (the Dutch Catholic Sneevliet, the Russian-Jewish Voitinsky, Nikolsky, and Joffe), and nearly every one was later purged or killed by the same Soviet state.
Why it matters
The engine explicitly falsifies any 'ethnic covenant' reading: the roles were filled regardless of ancestry, the agents were all later destroyed by their own state, and any Jewish overrepresentation traces to Tsarist persecution and go-between usefulness, not coordination. (The node was created to fix a report that cited a nonexistent 'Node Comintern.')
