The finding that death rates among fringe-topic researchers are not uniform: those working close to real hardware — propulsion physics, underground facilities, bioweapons, classified programs — show sharply elevated death rates, while those doing purely narrative work (cataloging sightings, ancient-astronaut theory, abduction stories) show no elevation at all and live to 85–90.
