CCRU concept: fictions that make themselves real through cultural circulation. The Singularity narrative is the ultimate hyperstition — a fiction about AI transcendence driving $100B+ in funding toward building the infrastructure regardless of whether transcendence is possible. VC hype cycles, Dead Internet, meme coins — all hyperstitions. The concept explains how ideology becomes material force.
