A measurement of how widely one specific extremist symbol (the Black Sun) has spread across global conflict zones and online extremist networks: an April 2026 estimate of 8-12%, approaching the 10-17% threshold at which, per a sociophysics model, a symbol becomes self-sustaining. Above that line it would no longer need active promotion — it would replicate on its own.
