Idea
A 2024 academic paper (Harvard and Montana Tech authors) proposing that unexplained aerial phenomena, if real, might come from something hidden on Earth itself — an ancient hidden species, a surviving lost human offshoot, returning Earth-origin intelligence, or entities from Earth's own substrate. Its significance here is sociological: it gives the academic, materialist wing of the 'disclosure' world a sanitized way to discuss Earth-adjacent non-human intelligence without religious framing.
