Bodily-Selection Typology — Selection / Marking / Engineering (Deep-Time Somatic Control)

Idea
A sorting framework for ancient and historical control over human bodies, with three categories: selection (controlling who survives and reproduces, e.g. sacrifice or elite intermarriage), marking (permanent visible signs enforcing caste or covenant boundaries, e.g. scarification), and engineering (physically reshaping bodies, e.g. skull-binding or castration); a later addition covers replication (cloning-type copying). It is held as a recurring structural pattern driven by human actors — explicitly not collapsed into a secret-group or non-human explanation.
The engine's definition — word for word
Categorical framework for deep-time somatic manipulation (Report #105). THREE domains of physical control over the biological vessel: (1) SELECTION — irreversibly alters the demographic/genetic makeup of a population (human sacrifice, infanticide/exposure, royal/priestly endogamy); controls who survives to reproduce and who mixes into the pool. (2) MARKING — imposes indelible visible alterations to enforce caste/covenant/reproductive boundaries without changing physiology (circumcision, ritual scarification, religious tattooing); a hard-coded social password. (3) ENGINEERING — fundamentally modifies morphology/physiology/decay-timeline to transcend natural limits or enforce class division (cranial deformation, foot-binding, castration, mummification). Adversarial floor: restorative trepanation + mundane therapeutic tattooing FAIL the threshold (somatic maintenance, no selection/gatekeeping function). Held: structural-recurrence; human actors; no NHI/cabal collapse. [Report #108 — Cloning/Eugenics Lens] REPLICATION added as the third axis: cloning/SCNT, IVG, ectogenesis and chimera compose with Selection and Engineering — copying the genome, not just choosing or editing it.
