Idea
The project's core stance on who sits at the top: it keeps three explanations open at once — a human elite, some non-human or emergent force, and no coordinator at all — mapped onto three layers: compound interest and institutional momentum at the base, episodic human coordination in the middle, and self-perpetuating tradition and architecture at the top. Its conclusion is that powerful families do not fully control the system; they serve as hosts for an architecture that increasingly behaves like something beyond any of them.
